Shivapurana talks about Shiva's incarnations and Shakti as Shiva's counterpart, all Hindu gods and goddesses, not special to Tamils or anybody else. Even the Harappan seals show Pashupati in the yoga pose (Mulabhandasana}, The Om symbol written 90 degrees rotated, all yoga figurines, clay figurines with vermilion in their hair and lots of bangles covering the whole hand etc. The whole Indian civilization is one. There is no such thing as a dravidian civilization or philosophy or way of life. And no Aryans invaded India through Khyber pass etc. The only unfortunate thing is the selection of a grossly inadequate alphabet by Tamil which causes confusion and mispronounciation and wrong derivations.PARTHASARATHYhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08287883329709606750noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2559723930575740149.post-35117566478272149332009-03-11T14:55:00.000+05:302009-03-11T14:55:00.000+05:30Hi Shanmugam,Alwars and nayanmars did not see tami...Hi Shanmugam,
Alwars and nayanmars did not see tamil culture and religion as different from sanskrit or other cultures , they say both as one.

refer to the other article.
http://controversialhistory.blogspot.com/2008/08/myth-of-independent-tamil-culture.htmlAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2559723930575740149.post-74584443137214241882009-01-08T21:25:00.000+05:302009-01-08T21:25:00.000+05:30In this article nothing is mentioned about the Div...In this article nothing is mentioned about the Divine Tamil sung by Nallvars Thevaram and Thruvasagam from 7th century onwards .Are you willing to accept the Chidambaram and Tanjore Big temples as more than thousand years of age?.Then, a different culture than of sanskrit developed in Tamil Nadu as ages going on.Whether it started with sanskrit or from the maturity of Tamils is difficult to prove or disprove by anybody.Shanmugamhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17109090742674944752noreply@blogger.com
